Applebees now offers Kids Eat Free on Wednesdays! I spoke to someone at the Elliot and Autoplex Dr. (Tempe) location and he said all Applebees (I assume he means in the metro Phoenix area) offers kids eat free on Wednesdays except for the Central and Camelback Applebees Phoenix location. 

Kids Eat Free is good all day on Wednesdays. 1 free kids entree for each adult entree purchased. Not valid with any other coupons or promotions. Kids drinks are not included with the kids meals and require a separate purchase.

Please call before heading to your local Arizona Applebees location to ensure continued participation at your neighborhood Applebees.

Update: Kids Eat Free at at the Ahwatukee/Chandler location has changed. This location use to do Kids Eat Free on Sundays and confirmed this past Sunday, they have changed it to Wednesdays. This particular Jason’s Deli location is off Ray Rd. just east of the I-10 freeway just behind Red Lobster. There is another Jason’s Deli Chandler location that also participates in Kids Eat Free on Wednesdays – check out the Chandler Mall location in the Target shopping center.

In the month of April (2010), IHop is bringing back their popular offer, Kids Eat Free at IHop!  Visit IHop between 4p.m. and 10p.m. all month long. Adult entree must be purchased to receive a free Ihop kids meal off the “Just for kids” menu. *At participating restaurants. Find the IHop location closest to you.

Looking for free kids meals in Chandler on Wednesdays? RigaTony’s is your place. Great italian food from a well established restaurant. Get one free kids meal on Wednesdays for each adult entree purchased. RigaTony’s is located at 1374 N. Arizona Avenue Chandler, AZ. Ph. 480-899-1111.

Uncle Bear’s Bar and Grill offers free kids meals to children 10 and under on Wednesday’s. Receive 1 kids meal free for each adult entree purchased. This offer is good all day long at Uncle Bears on Wednesdays. 2 Queen Creek locations and 1 Mesa location.

NYPD Pizza offers kids eat free on Wednesdays after 4 p.m. to kids ages 10 and under. Additional purchases/entrees required for the free kids meal. Kids meals come with a drink and an ice cream treat for dessert. This offer is good for dine-in only.

Visit NYPD Pizza on Wednesdays for kids eat free at one of their 10 Arizona locations. Locations in the East Valley (Mesa, Gilbert), Scottsdale, Chandler, and on the West side of town.

Every day after 3 p.m. kids eat free off the Lil’ Charrito menu when you purchase a regular adult entree. 1 free kids meal per child. This special was confirmed with the downtown location (311 N Court Ave Tucson, AZ 85701) and they verified that it is available at all locations in Tucson.

Monday’s kids eat free at Iguana Macks in Chandler all day. Parents, get 1 free kids meal for each paying adult entree. Iguana Macks is located off Alma School & Knox in Chandler at 1371 N. Alma School Rd. Chandler. If you feel like Italian cuisine, you can also check out their partner restaurant, RigaTony’s just down the street (down Knox) Wednesday’s, kids eat free with each paying adult. 1374 N. Arizona Avenue Chandler.

Rainforest Cafe offers cheap kids meals on Wednesday nights after 5pm with the purchase of an adult entree. They are only $1.99. I called the only location in Arizona which is at the Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe, which is off the I-10 and US 60. They did say that the kids drink IS included in that price so I guess that makes up for the extra buck since some kids eat free meals don’t include the drink.

I think your kids will enjoy the experience once they get to the restaurant. It’s got the look and the feel to a real rainforest. During our dining experience, there were many sounds as if we were sitting in the middle of a rainforest rain and thunderstorm. My girls really liked it. They also have a huge fish tank that my 2 year old really liked.

Here are your options for kids menu entrees: pizza, pasta, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, shrimp, chicken tenders, mini burgers, dinosaur chicken nuggets, and a turkey wrap.

 Just in case you need directions, you can call them at 480-752-9100. For best entrance and parking, head to the West side of the mall.

Not every Garcia’s location participates, but I did call around to a few different locations. Some locations offer kids eat free on Monday’s while others offer discount kids meals. Either way, 1 adult entree does need to be purchased for each kids meal received. This offer is good all day long too and the kids drink is included in their meal. The locations I called to verify were:

• 1940 E. University Mesa, AZ – Offers FREE kids meals on Mondays all day long
• 4210 S. Arizona Avenue Chandler, AZ (Fulton Ranch) – This location does not participate.
• 5000 Arizona Mills Circle Tempe, AZ (Arizona Mills Mall) – This location does not participate.

• 1900 S. Milton Rd Flagstaff, AZ – Offers 99 cent kids meals on Sunday’s and Wednesdays all day long
• 2992 Park Avenue Prescott Valley, AZ – Offers FREE kids meals on Wednesdays all day long but you can not order lunch special entrees and receive the kids meal free. You must order off the regular menu to receive the free kids meal.
